Blood Culture

Yesternite I was trying on Astral Projection and it think I did not managed to do it. Last night I had a dream, in my dream I went into a room, there papers and papers on tables, I walked to one of the table and grab some to read, it’s something familiar but not so familiar, it’s definitely not questions I do up for exams or syllables for students. I don’t remember as I do not really have that great memory, but I can recall some slowly. One of them came up to my mind when I was in the toilet juz now. It’s something like : - )

A mother came with a 6 weeks old infant who has (i/o or h/o, can’t remember) repeated vomiting after meals. No weight loss. Clinical examination is alright with no other symptoms. Which statement is correct?
1. Urine Culture
2. Blood Culture
3. CXR needed
4. No X-rays needed

So, some familiar right? Urine, Xrays and CXR, I no problem, Blood c/s. Ah… last time in amg mo kio hospital got right? ttsh rehab like to order this for patient. There are two bottles of fluids needed. What is Blood Culture? Many people don’t know, even those Obasans, one day a Smart doctor ordered for blood c/s, obasan very smart, want to do urine c/s for patient and told patient, ”Your doctor stupid, anyhow order, I do the right one for you.” Patient still very happy, luckily I got ESP , sensed something was wrong, went to pick up the already processed order, jia luck it’s blood c/s, quickly “take over” without telling those donkey obasans as If I say they are wrong, I will “See liao” (die liao!) I took over called the ordering doctor to inform that polyclinic do not provide for blood c/s. Cancel orders without letting any of the obasans knows, sent the patient back to doctor. These donkeys are what I call --- AI (Artificial Intelligent), means 假厉害! (Artificial = 假; Intelligent = 厉害)
But what is the answer huh? I don’t know also no “mentor” to teach me. I think … “My Final Answer is … 4, no Xrays needed!” actually I needed HelpLine, but not available. Also one to tell me the correct answer. It’s jus not my cup of coffee. Why 4? To me it makes sense, the infant vomit after meals, could be food poisoning, or stomach flu, or internal gas influx, else the infant is not happy, the baby did not get the Hello Kitty he wants and his mother buys him a Winnie the pooh for $6 from the pharmacy coz it’s On Sale!
