When I was young, I thought it was 海南姑 娘, Hainanese Girl, I was thinking not that bad being a hainanese girl as hokkien girl, Cantonese girl, hakka girl, teochew girls, have no songs dedicated to them. Till I came across the Faye Wong version did I realized that it was not 海南姑 娘, but 南 海 姑 娘. Very nice song. It’s an Indonesia folk song or love song. The picture is a cup of cappuccino but with “flash” not a cuppa for FlashGorden but I “move hand leg” , 动手脚.
